It is very true that technology changed us in many ways.
In the videos they explained how technology changed people's life in horrible ways because we are so dependent on it. This is very true. Technology is a tool, for humans to use. But the role here has changed. We are so dependent on the technology that we are "controlled" by it.
Technology was made to make our lifes easier. So we can search up information without going through all the books to find one little piece of information. Also technology helps us communicate with the people all around the world without having to travel so far to talk to one another. These are all great benefits that do make our life better. But everything has a price. Because these abilities to do things with much more efficiency, people forgot how to search and read books effciently. They also rely on technology to communicate. The old tradition of "borrowing neighbor's salt" has ended. Human to human, face to face communication  has dropped in numbers dramaticly.
Even though technology is useful, we should understand the difference of using and being use. We should use technology as a tool, not as our brain.
