Digital life (video response)

It's true how our lives have become influenced by technology these days, and this video had a good message about how our lives are being changed from technology enhancing everyday. Some examples are the iPhone 5 which is the most advanced technology we have out there! It's a computer, phone, music player, video camera/recorder, and the list goes on. People think we need this technology to satisfy our needs, but really the technology we have today is more than what we need. Phones, emails, texting have taken the places of carrying a normal conversation or sending a letter on paper and sealing it in an envelop. 

The video had a really good way of presenting information, and i could relate to one of the lines, "and now we tweet and blog and hashtag all our thoughts," i do tweet about what i do because i have nothing to do, but even though i could be doing a bunch of things to keep me entertained than talk about whats happening with the world and my friends. i don't recognize the beauty of nature anymore or even carrying on a normal conversation with a friend face to face, and not word for word on email or twitter. So really, the "Digital life," has really changed who we are; everyone is so attached to social media because they are to lazy to get their butts on a bus or for a walk to go embrace the nature of our city and province. 

Even though technology does change some of the old stuff we used to do like send letters and buy books, but the advantage to having it online and emailing your friend is that we waste less paper and its more eco-friendly to our environment in a way. In general, i really thought this video was a creative way to get the word around and to get people to start thinking about what their really doing with their lives. It's easy to share with anyone and everyone may have a different thought about technology, but its really what has changed our society today.
